TAX SUPERVISORWell established, highly profitable regional CPA firm is seeking a Tax Supervising Senior to join their expanding team. The position involves working with both SEC and closely held clients across diverse industries, with a clear path to Partnership.Tax SUPERVISOR Responsibilities The Tax Supervisor is accountable for the efficient, precise, thorough, and timely preparation of all clients' tax returns. Advanced skills in various tax and accounting areas, combined with solid management and Senior Supervising abilities are essential. The Tax Supervisor is responsible for making decisions on most tax situations.ResponsibilitiesConducts technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax audits of varying complexity.Actively participates in client meetings and tax planning initiatives to support the Auditing and Accounting Department with major clients.Takes on client service responsibility for clients directly managed by the tax Supervising Senior or those clients delegated from the partner or manager.Delegates and oversees governmental tax audits; may represent the client before the relevant taxing authorities.Occasional overtime work required year-round.
