Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Location: Vernon, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support a project in Vernon, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to safety, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and experience working in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and job site audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety training programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with site leadership to reinforce safety policies and best practices.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all teams.
• Support ongoing safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Background in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively influence teams in a fast-paced environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar professional safety certifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
