Salary: USD45 - USD50 per hour Safety Professional Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support a project in Vernon, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to safety, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and experience working in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily safety inspections and job site audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions to reduce risk. Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety training programs. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports with recommendations. Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and compliance reports. Collaborate with site leadership to reinforce safety policies and best practices. Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all teams. Support ongoing safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a safety-related role. Background in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively influence teams in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 30 certification required or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar professional safety certifications.
