We value transparent communication and expect all team members to contribute to achieve the best outcomes while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist the oral surgeon during a variety of surgical proceduresPrepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocolsTake dental x-rays of excellent, diagnostic qualityReview patient Health History to ensure it is recorded accurately and completelyServe as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol, and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipmentHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after surgical treatmentProvide patients with post-operative instructions for oral care following surgery or other oral treatment procedures, such as the placement of dental implants or extraction of third molarsRecord doctor notes and vital sign information during a surgical procedure or office consultationPerform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computerMaintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidentialRequirements1+ years of experience in an inpatient or outpatient surgical environmentExperience in a hospital environment is highly preferred but oral surgery experience is not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConsistently professional appearance and attitudeMust be detail-oriented, punctual, and patient-care-focusedMotivated to grow and learn new thingsHigh school diploma or equivalentBenefits OfferedMedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceLong and Short-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off401(k) with Company MatchIf you are a team player with a passion for providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
