The Facility Manager will provide support and access to third party vendors as well as conduct preventative maintenance & repairs Supervise maintenance technicians Manage computer-based work-order system, and ensure completion of work Maintain excellent relations with owners/residents through fast, well-done, efficient work completion Grow the maintenance operation to achieve goals set forth by leadership Manage daily scheduling of crew members and resource allocation Organize and set up maintenance projects Set up maintenance schedules Prepare estimates and proposals Track job information in spreadsheets Manage time sheet records and expense reporting Disclaimer This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance. Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely. Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks. Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors). Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on‑call, and overtime as required. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting skills Complete understanding of repairs and maintenance at a facility level Skilled in hands on mechanical, plumbing, general building repairs and consider self a “Jack of all trades” Ability to use basic construction tools effectively Must be able to read and understand English to effectively communicate with fellow employees on work-related issues Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Must have prioritization and time management skills. Must have a valid driver's license Must have a pleasant attitude and a good work ethic. Pay and Benefits $75,000 to $85,000 depending on education and experience.
