This opportunity begins September 2 and runs through the academic year, providing specialized support to learners and collaborating with a dedicated, student-focused team. What We’re Looking For: Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Washington Previous experience working in a school-based setting is strongly preferred Strong communication skills to connect with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff Ability to craft and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population Organizational skills and flexibility to adapt in a dynamic school environment Commitment to fostering student access, independence, and achievement Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students per their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs Develop tailored interventions to support mobility, balance, and participation in the school setting Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to promote student success Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies and equipment use Stay up to date with best practices and compliance standards in pediatric and school-based therapy This contract role is a fantastic fit for professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in students’ daily lives, utilizing clinical expertise within a supportive educational environment.
