Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities Responsible for payroll processing on a semi-monthly basis, which includes sending out timecard completion/approval reminders, reviewing timecards for accuracy, entering employee reimbursements into ADP, previewing and finalizing payroll, and transferring retirement funds to our 403b platform Ensures the completion and accuracy of all benefit and retirement enrollments, changes, and terminations; conducts meetings with new hires to answer questions, and provides assistance in enrolling employee benefits/retirement plan if warranted; ensures medical files are complete by the time of the employee's first payroll deduction for benefits Manages the open enrollment process, including employee communications, benefits education, enrollment administration, vendor coordination, and issue resolution to ensure a seamless employee experience Qualifications Qualified candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, including payroll and benefits; full proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and payroll systems required; ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred; associate degree in Human Resources or related field and/or HR certification preferred; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential Required Experience and Education: two years of experience in Human Resources or administration, including payroll and benefits; full proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and payroll systems required; ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred; Associate degree in Human Resources or related field and/or HR certification preferred Job Details Job type: Full-time What Evergreen Health Offers You: Multiple comprehensive medical health insurance plans to choose from Dental and Vision coverage at no cost to you Paid Time Off package equaling up to 4 weeks in your first year 403b with a generous company match Paid lunch breaks This position is posted with a salary range.
