Monday to Friday
Pallet Jack Operator is a warehouse professional responsible for safely and efficiently transporting palletized goods, loading and unloading shipments, and organizing inventory within a storage or distribution facility. They typically operate manual or motorized electric jacks to keep supply chain operations running smoothly. [1, 2]
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maneuver manual or electric pallet jacks to transport materials.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight from trucks, docks, and storage staging areas.
- Order Picking: Retrieve and stack products according to pick lists, load sheets, or voice-directed systems, and prepare pallets for shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections, report hazards, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations
