Aircraft Inspector II

As an Aircraft Inspector II, you will perform routine inspections independently, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. You will gain more responsibility in inspection planning and documentation. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber. Responsibilities: * Conduct routine aircraft inspections. * Plan and prepare for basic inspections. * Document and report findings. * Identify and correct minor non-conformities. * Maintain compliance with inspection schedules and timelines. Qualifications You Must Have: * High school diploma or equivalent. * 1+ years of relevant experience. * Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. * Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), or Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate. * Experience with aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts. * Basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures. * Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). * Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance. Qualifications We Prefer: * Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures. * Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military. Essential Functions: * Lift up to 50 lbs regularly. * Stand and walk for extended periods. * Work in varying environmental conditions. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $26.39 - $36.29. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
