Your primary duties will include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, repairing or replacing damaged components, conducting routine inspections, and providing expert recommendations on trailer upkeep. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to ensuring that trailers meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee parts inventory and maintain accurate repair documentation via Maintenance program.**Critical Job Functions:*** Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures.* Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.* Oversee Maintenance Technicians on site to ensure policy and safety compliance.* Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.**Job Requirements:*** High school or equivalent (Required).* Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required).* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.* Knowledge of trailing equipment and limited knowledge of forklift repairs.* Basic electrical diagnosis and repair.* Foundation brake system diagnosis and repair.* Door repair – both roll and swing doors.* Frame repair.**Physical Demands and Work Environment:** The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
