Survey Project Manager

OverviewColliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Project Manager to join our team in New York State!Colliers Engineering & Design’s survey professionals have the expertise to achieve highly accurate results while maintaining quality control over data collected, from field to office, and precision of the final client deliverables. Whether the project calls for administering conventional surveying methods, cutting-edge geospatial scanning techniques or a combination of both, our professionally licensed land surveyors, highly-trained office technicians and field crews work seamlessly together to provide the most responsive and consistent professional survey services available. Implementing the right approach for each project is what makes the difference and ensures our clients they are receiving the most accurate surveying and measurement services.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and prepare complete boundary survey by compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location.Perform Quality Control review on reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents prepared by others for accuracy and completeness.Provide assistance to staff in the preparation of reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents.Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks on more complex projects.Assist in the preparation of project/task work plans.Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives.Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.May supervise assignments given to the Survey Technician(s).QualificationsBachelors Degree in Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred.8+ years of experience in Land Surveying required.LSIT required, NY State Professional Land Surveyor License preferred.Ability to generate revenue through existing client base and new business development preferred.Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.Compensation: $74,600 to $141,400 per year (depending on qualifications)What We OfferAt Colliers Engineering & Design, our people are our most important resource.
