Certified Payroll Specialist

Pasadena, CA | Temporary-to-Hire | $30.00-$37.00 per Hour | Onsite

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected construction industry client in Pasadena to hire a Certified Payroll Coordinator on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with union payroll experience who is looking to grow their career in certified payroll, prevailing wage compliance, and public works projects.

Job Duties:

· Process weekly certified payroll and distribute payroll reports

· Review and process subcontractor certified payroll submissions

· Maintain certified payroll records and project documentation

· Assist prime contractors and subcontractors with certified payroll-related inquiries

· Monitor contract-related emails and documentation

· Maintain project tracking spreadsheets and project details

· Assist with certified payroll startup and compliance paperwork

· Prepare union reports and status letters

· Support certified payroll reporting and distribution processes

· Perform filing, scanning, and other administrative duties

· Assist the Certified Payroll Manager with additional projects and responsibilities

Requirements:

· 2+ years of union payroll experience required

· Construction payroll experience preferred

· Certified payroll experience preferred but not required

· 2+ years of data entry experience with strong attention to detail

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word

· Accurate 10-key and data entry skills

· Excellent customer service and communication abilities

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills

· Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines

· Strong aptitude for learning new systems and software

· Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when necessary

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
