Quality Assurance Manager

Thermal Specialties is seeking a motivated Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives within our Heat Treat Division. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining quality systems, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position offers significant opportunity for growth within the division. Pay Range: $75,000 - 100,000 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement, and coordinate quality assurance program. Maintain and oversee compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to address customer and internal quality issues. Manage daily quality functions including Pyrometry, Surface hardness and Microhardness testing. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, auditors, suppliers, and internal team members Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing or quality experience may be considered. Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, quality management, metallurgy, or a related field . Knowledge & Skills Understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement practices. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 , AS9100 , Nadcap , and CQI-9 is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Proven ability to lead teams and influence positive change. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Working Conditions Manufacturing and industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperatures.
