CRM Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CRM Operations Manager based in the United States.

This hands-on role strengthens the technical and operational foundation behind lifecycle marketing programs. You will serve as a CRM platform expert, helping teams use data, automation, segmentation, and personalization to create more relevant customer experiences. The position combines Braze expertise with data operations, campaign execution, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and process improvement. You will collaborate closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Data Engineering, Product, MarTech, and Ads teams to keep programs running efficiently. A key focus will be building scalable frameworks, reusable campaign components, and reliable processes that enable teams to move faster. You will also help unlock new personalization opportunities while ensuring campaign data, integrations, and workflows remain accurate and dependable. Accountabilities:

Serve as the CRM team’s Braze subject matter expert, supporting segmentation, personalization, experimentation, orchestration, and campaign operations.

Establish and maintain CRM processes, naming conventions, documentation, and governance standards to ensure reliable and consistent data across systems.

Act as the Lifecycle Marketing point of contact for Data Engineering and MarTech teams, troubleshooting issues, monitoring data pipelines, and validating new integrations.

Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions that reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and streamline CRM workflows.

Partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Data Engineering, and Product teams to improve the data pipelines, events, attributes, and data structures that enable personalization.

Build and manage segmentation, dynamic content, and automation logic within Braze to support targeted, behavior-based customer communications.

Develop reusable templates and modular campaign components that improve speed, consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Maintain a reliable source of truth for active, upcoming, and discontinued campaigns and canvases.

Help coordinate priorities and keep the team on schedule for high-priority campaign deliverables.

Support the setup, execution, and quality assurance of complex lifecycle campaigns and triggered customer journeys.

Perform rendering, link, creative, technical, and deliverability testing to ensure campaigns meet established quality standards.

Configure dynamic content and data-driven elements for advanced CRM campaigns.

Execute advertising partner campaigns across email and in-app messaging channels.

Promote continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps and implementing more efficient ways of working.

Requirements:

4–6+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or a related field, ideally within consumer technology or subscription-based consumer products.

Advanced hands-on experience with Braze, including Canvas orchestration, Connected Content, Liquid logic, segmentation, and personalization.

Strong understanding of CRM data structures, including events, attributes, subscription states, audience segmentation, and behavioral data.

Proficiency with HTML and CSS, along with basic JavaScript skills for developing and troubleshooting complex email and in-app messaging experiences.

Working knowledge of SQL or comparable data tools for validating data and supporting CRM operations.

Experience troubleshooting integrations, data pipelines, campaign configurations, and platform-related issues.

Ability to create scalable templates, modular components, documentation, and operational processes.

Familiarity with experimentation, personalization, behavior-based messaging, and lifecycle marketing strategies.

Experience adopting AI-powered tools within CRM and marketing workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Excellent attention to detail and strong process discipline, particularly when managing complex campaigns and technical configurations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, troubleshoot independently, and take ownership of operational challenges.
