Human Resources Coordinator

SafeHavenDefenseUSislookingforaHumanResourcesCoordinatortojoinourgrowingArizonacorporateteam!TheHumanResourceCoordinatorwillperformadministrativetasksandservicestosupporteffectiveandefficientoperationsofthehumanresourcedepartment. Thispositionisanin-personjobatourcorporateofficeinnorthScottsdaleoffofthe101andFrankLloydWrightBlvd.Thescheduleis9am-5pmMonday-Friday.TherewillbeminimalintowntravelbetweenourwarehouseinNorthPhoenixandthecorporateofficewillberequiredinyourpersonalvehiclethatissupportedbymileagereimbursement. JobResponsibilities: Maintainsaccurateandup-to-datehumanresourcefiles,records,anddocumentationalignedinbothpaperandelectronicfiles. Answersfrequentlyaskedquestionsfromapplicantsandemployeesrelatedtostandardpolicies,benefits,hiringprocesses,etc.;refersmorecomplexquestionstoappropriatesenior-levelHRmanagement. Maintainstheintegrityandconfidentialityofhumanresourcefilesandrecords. PerformsperiodicauditsofHRfilesandrecordstoensurethatallrequireddocumentsarecollectedandfiledappropriately. ProvidesclericalsupporttotheHRdepartment. Mayassistwithpayrollfunctionsincludingprocessing,answeringemployeequestions,fixingprocessingerrors,anddistributingchecks. Actsasaliaisonbetweentheorganizationandexternalbenefitsprovidersandvendors,whichmayincludehealth,disability,andretirementplanproviders. Conductsorassistswithnewhireorientation. Assistswithplanningandexecutionofspecialeventssuchasbenefitsenrollment,organization-widemeetings,employeerecognitionevents,holidayparties,andretirementcelebrations. Helpstosupportcompliancewithfederal,state,andlocallaws,regulations,andbestpractices. Performsotherdutiesasassigned. RequiredSkills/Abilities: Excellentreading,verbalandwrittencommunicationandcustomerserviceskills. Excellentinterpersonalskillswiththeabilitytomanagesensitiveandconfidentialsituationswithtact,professionalism,anddiplomacy. Excellentorganizationalskillsandstrongattentiontodetail. Abilitytoworkindependently,prioritizetasks,andmeetdeadlineswhilealsoworkingcollaborativelywithadjacentdepartments. Abilitytoremainflexibleandeffectivelymultitaskwhileanalyzingandsolvingproblemsefficientlyinafast-pacedenvironment. ProficientwithMicrosoftOfficeSuiteorrelatedsoftware. Proficientwithortheabilitytoquicklylearnpayrollmanagement,humanresourceinformationsystem(HRIS),andsimilarcomputerapplications. PhysicalRequirements: Prolongedperiodssittingatadeskandworkingonacomputerfor2-8hoursperday. Hearingandspeakingabilitysufficienttocarryonaconversationwithanotherindividual(orgroupsofindividuals)inperson,overthetelephone,andvirtualvideocommunicationapplications. Visualabilitysufficienttoreadandproduceprintedmaterialandinformationdisplayedonacomputerscreen. Mustbeabletoliftupto15poundsattimes. Requirements: Associate’sdegreeinhumanresources,Psychology,orrelatedﬁeldpreferred 3yearsminimumexperienceinHumanResourcesAssistantorCoordinatorrolerequired. Abilitytopassapre-employmentdrugscreenandbackgroundcheck. MaintainavalidDriver’sLicense&cleanmotorvehiclereport,21yearsofageasrequiredbyinsurancetodrive. Successfullypassesthe60-dayprobationaryperiodwhereallcredentialsarecompleted,andorientationmetricsaremet.
