The Paralegal - Immigration will support the practice group by managing immigration-related casework, preparing legal documents, and assisting attorneys, This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset to ensure compliance with regulations. Client Details This role is with a full-service, national law firm with over 450 attorneys across 18 offices and specializes across corporate, transactional, and litigation work. This role can be based in Chicago or Miami. Description Prepare and organize immigration case filings, including visa applications and petitions. Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations. Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents and correspondence. Maintain accurate case records and track deadlines for filing and document submissions. Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide case updates. Assist with case strategy planning and provide administrative support for hearings or interviews. Ensure confidentiality and security of all legal documentation and client information. Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed support. Profile A successful Paralegal - Immigration should have: Minimum of 5 years of experience with employment-based immigration for a law firm. Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a paralegal certificate preferred A strong understanding of immigration law and legal processes. Proficiency in legal research and document preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
