Rental Associate

Rental Associate Location: Crested Butte, CO, US. Shift Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 (Full Time and Part Time hours available). Starting Wage: $20/hr. Housing Availability: Yes. Minimum Age: 18 years of age. Job Summary Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world‑class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. Job Responsibilities Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops. Fit guests with equipment – training provided. Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibilities during the rental, including length of rental and return options. Work with teammates to maintain safety standards. May include other duties such as cashiering and retail sales. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends. Commitment to exceptional customer service. Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry. Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods. Must be able to communicate fluently in English. Rental associate team members often work across multiple departments and roles, including: Mountain activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage support, Ticket sales or scanning, Lift operations, Base area operations.
