Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring and support, ensuring continuous assessment and intervention to promote optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, promptly identifying any changes in patient condition.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and family members on condition management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and infection control policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina or applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or acute care settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize critical changes in patient condition.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic healthcare environment.
