Manager of Finance Pricing @ High Growth Services Firm (Chicago)

A leading professional services organization is hiring a Senior Manager of Pricing Finance to lead strategy and execution across high-impact matters. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to design competitive, profitable pricing structures and improve pricing processes across the firm.

What you’ll do

• Lead a pricing finance team (managers and analysts) and oversee day-to-day workflow, quality, and development
• Build and review pricing proposals including hourly rates and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs)
• Develop financial models, benchmarking, and performance reporting to support matter profitability and client value
• Advise senior stakeholders on pricing strategy, negotiation considerations, and internal approval practices
• Support annual rate-setting activities, including timelines, benchmarking inputs, and stakeholder coordination
• Contribute to RFP/pricing language and collaborate with Business Development on proposal best practices
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation; stay current on legal pricing trends/tools

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance is preferred
• 8+ years in financial analysis or pricing is a plus
• 4+ years people management experience with direct reports
• Advanced Excel skills (PowerPoint also strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders using data-driven insights
• Experience in professional services strongly preferred, Big 4 Public Accounting or Consulting firm a plus
