Temporary Emergency Department RN (Night Shift)

Job Summary Provides patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, diagnose, and treat health responses. Responsible for comprehensive assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring coordination across disciplines and proper discharge planning. Utilizes protocols, documents accurately in EMR, and delegates appropriately based on patient needs and scope of practice. Requirements Minimum nine months of RN experience and one year of ED experience or completion of a specialized internship. Graduate from an accredited nursing program and valid RN license. Necessary certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and within six months: Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course. Strong computer skills and ability to perform accurate assessments, procedures, and emergency measures. Preferred Qualifications Previous healthcare experience and a bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Additional certifications such as CEN and TNCC preferred.
