Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)

Hire Talent is partnering with a well‑established, multi‑disciplinary engineering and surveying firm in Houston to identify a Registered Land Professional Surveyor to join their in‑office team. This role is ideal for a surveyor with 2–5 years of professional experience who enjoys a collaborative environment, diverse project work, and the stability of a long‑standing Houston firm. The Registered Land Professional Surveyor will support a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and seal survey documents in compliance with Texas standard. Oversee the preparation of plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking deliverables. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to ensure accuracy. Interpret deeds, easements, title commitments, and legal descriptions. Support residential and commercial development projects, including wood‑frame and mixed‑use sites. Utilize AutoCAD (and Trimble equipment where applicable) to produce precise survey drawings. Maintain professional standards of ethics, accuracy, and client responsiveness. Qualifications Active Registered Land Professional Surveyor (RLPS) license in Texas. 2–5 years of professional land surveying experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
