Job description Join our dynamic team as a SkillBridge Intern, tailored for transitioning service members with a background and interest in the Information Technology field (i.e. IT Support Specialist, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator). This unique internship program offers an invaluable opportunity to apply your military skills and leadership in a civilian work environment, where you’ll gain hands‑on experience and contribute to vital business initiatives via onsite on‑the‑job training as an IT Support Specialist/Junior Systems Administrator. The IT Support Specialist / Junior Systems Administrator supports day-to-day technology operations within a Managed Services and Security Provider (MSSP) environment. The individual works alongside experienced technicians and systems administrators to provide technical support to multiple customer environments while developing practical skills in troubleshooting, systems administration, monitoring, cybersecurity, and customer service. Responsibilities include responding to and documenting service requests, troubleshooting workstation and application issues, remotely supporting endpoints, assisting with user and identity administration, monitoring system health, and escalating complex technical or security issues. The position also assists with proactive maintenance, patching, endpoint security, documentation, and basic infrastructure administration. ** THIS OPPORTUNITY IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS ONLY ** About the SkillBridge Program The Department of Defense SkillBridge program connects transitioning service members with industry partners to gain meaningful civilian work experience through training, internships, or apprenticeships during the last 180 days of their military service. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. Assist in project completion, including research and analysis. Actively participate in team meetings. Gain exposure to technologies, tools, and processes relevant to the role. Enhance professional skills in communication, leadership, and problem‑solving. What We Are Looking For Currently serving as an Active Duty military service member and eligible for the SkillBridge program. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with an ability to work independently. Willingness to learn and apply military experiences in the Information Technology field.
