BC/BE Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join its high-performing cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center – Kalamazoo which is a new cancer center that opened in January 2021.

Position Highlights:

• Candidate will join a practice consisting of 6 other medical oncologists/hematologists and 6 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care
• Opportunity to sub-specialize partially in treating cancer patients
• This is a hospital-employed outpatient position working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm
• Call shared equally with the other physicians in the team

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Fellowship Trained in Hematology/Oncology
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care

This new facility opened in January 2021 in downtown Kalamazoo on the campus of Bronson Methodist Hospital. The new cancer center houses Medical Oncology/Hematology, Palliative Care, a Hemophilia Treatment Center, a Multidisciplinary Clinic, and an Infusion Center along with amenities to support patients’ cancer journeys
