As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors, shoppers, and employees with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to support a welcoming environment while documenting observations and collaborating with the Allied Universal team with integrity, reliability, and care. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns. Respond to incidents, customer concerns and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
