Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

• Process and record billing transactions accurately within the accounting system
• Prepare, review, and issue invoices in accordance with contract terms and schedules
• Ensure billing aligns with service documentation, pricing, and customer requirements
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain organized, audit-ready billing documentation
• Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
• Assist with billing reconciliations and support month-end close activities

Preferred Qualifications of the Billing Specialist:

• 3+ years of full-cycle billing experience
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with billing portals (SMART GEP, Ariba, OpenInvoice, or similar)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Self-directed, solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
