New Car Manager – Lead Our New Vehicle Department

Mike Calvert Toyota, part of the Vaughan Automotive Group, is growing — again! Our group has just added another dealership to the family, and recent internal promotions have opened up an exciting leadership opportunity right here in our new car department. We're looking for an experienced New Car Manager to take the reins of our new vehicle inventory, drive profitability, and build a high-performing sales team as our group continues to expand.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to manage inventory and allocation, price to move metal, and lead a team to hit their numbers — all while joining a dealership group with real momentum and real room to grow.

What You'll Do

• Oversee new vehicle inventory ordering, allocation, and stocking strategy
• Set and adjust new vehicle pricing and incentive strategy based on market trends and manufacturer programs
• Monitor inventory turn rate, aging units, and gross profit to hit department targets
• Lead, coach, and hold accountable the new car sales team
• Manage manufacturer relations, including Toyota allocation, incentives, and dealer trades
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and service departments to keep inventory and deals moving
• Manage floor plan and inventory financing
• Ensure compliance with dealership policy and manufacturer/state regulations for new vehicle sales
• Use dealership inventory, pricing, and DMS tools to guide decisions

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a New Car Manager or in a similar dealership leadership role required
• Previous Finance experience required (at least 2 years)
• Strong understanding of new vehicle inventory management, allocation, and pricing strategy
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and team management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with dealership inventory and DMS software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Toyota brand experience preferred
• Experience with manufacturer allocation and incentive systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
