Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Bonus: $15,000 two-year commitment 8:00-4:30 Full Time Monday-Friday C all every 12 weeks for the week and night call every other week from 11p-7am Job Summary & Essential Functions Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment Essential Functions Additional Information Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present; may involve contact with patients, blood, body fluids, or specimens. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Clinical Ladder Eligible - increase base pay by completing the clinical ladder levels Education Associate's degree in nursing required Bachelor's Degree preferred. License: /Certifications Current RN license in state of Kentucky or a current multistate license Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
