Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for a specialized restoration company serving the insurance restoration industry.
This individual will lead our operations team, manage projects from start to finish, ensure excellent customer service, and improve efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate is an organized problem-solver who can lead people, manage multiple projects, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Project Management
- Oversee daily operations, production scheduling, staffing, and project completion.
- Manage restoration projects from initial assignment through final delivery and billing
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues that impact deadlines, quality, or costs.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and develop operational employees.
- Set clear expectations for productivity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and employee development.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and a customer-focused work environment.
Customer Service & Quality Control
- Address customer concerns and ensure timely communication throughout each project.
- Ensure restoration work, documentation, inventory, and delivery meet company standards.
Financial Performance & Process Improvement
- Monitor job costs, labor efficiency, productivity, and overall profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Develop and improve procedures to ensure consistent operations as the company grows.
- Work with leadership to track performance and achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in restoration, logistics, operations, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
- Understanding of scheduling, job costs, labor management, and operational performance.
- Knowledge of insurance restoration processes is a plus.
