Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and lab results effectively
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, incorporating medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
