Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, inclusive of comprehensive physical exams and meticulous medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and diagnostic imaging studies
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital support during surgery, including preparing the operating environment, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and assisting with instruments
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and vital patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures

Licensure & Certifications

• Active and unrestricted certification as a PA-C
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Physician Assistant
