A local manufacturer in Mason is searching for MIG Welders! This company is an industry leader in shoring boxes. They provide equipment to keep construction teams safe around the world. Job duties:
Pay: $22.00 per hour, plus $1.50 shift premium for 2nd shift!
Location: Mason, MI
Position Type: Evaluation to hire
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift
1 st shift: 6am - 3:30pm M-F, $22/hr (filled)
2nd shift: 4pm - 1:30am M-F, $22/hr plus $1.50 shift premium
Qualifications: Candidates must have welding experience and be able to pass a 1" weld test. Must have reliable transportation and no attendance issues.

Job duties:
- Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding, tack-weld pieces together
- Apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts,
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, stooping, leaning, kneeling, and lifting 50lbs.+, using an overhead lift, and working with combustible equipment.
- Safety equipment provided: welding gear, including a welding mask with a ventilation system, safety glasses, earplugs, and other necessary safety equipment.
Pay: $22.00 per hour, plus $1.50 shift premium for 2nd shift!
