Preferred candidates will hold current Michigan licensure, but applicants on track to secure the appropriate certification before the new school year are also encouraged to apply. This full-time position provides the chance to work alongside dedicated educators and administrators, making a genuine difference in the lives of children and families.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Michigan state School Psychologist licensure (or eligibility and willingness to obtain in time for the new school year)
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school-based or similar setting
• Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and consultation with students, families, and staff
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to support students’ varied needs across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide recommendations
• Partner with teachers, counselors, and parents/guardians to support student growth
• Offer direct and indirect interventions to promote emotional and academic well-being
• Respond to crises and provide counseling or behavioral support as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
