This contract position requires a dedicated social worker who thrives in a collaborative, student-focused setting and can begin as soon as possible, continuing through June 2027, at a campus near Sterling Heights, MI.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Active Michigan Social Worker licensure
• Prior school-based experience with K-12 students
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment and behavioral interventions
• Skilled communicator with the ability to engage staff, students, and families
• Proven success working within a multidisciplinary educational team

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral interventions to students
• Serve as the designated 504 Plan Coordinator
• Support both general education and special education students, adapting services to their unique needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administration, and family members to create optimal support plans
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation for all student interactions and interventions
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance student success
