Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide specialized nursing care to stroke stepdown patients.
• Assist with the management of common diagnoses such as stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, COPD, and CHF.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Adapt to floating requirements as necessary.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certification (NIH can be obtained prior to start).
• Active NY License and all active RN Licenses verified through NURSYS Report.
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience with stroke stepdown.
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems.
