As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access and communication needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and credential checks in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations.
• Complete routine reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
