Sr. Healthcare Quality Specialist RN

Sr. Healthcare Quality Specialist RN is responsible for evaluating and improving quality of care and patient safety at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (KSC). This role combines clinical expertise with quality improvement methodologies to ensure compliance with healthcare standards, promote best practices, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $97,010 - $119,836 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)

Experience

Required: 5 years of clinical nursing experience working in the inpatient or ambulatory setting.

Preferred: Experience working in the fields of healthcare quality, patient safety, and/or risk management.

Experience working with Epic.

License(s)

Required: Licensed RN in TX

Preferred: Certification in healthcare quality or patient safety (e.g., CPHQ, CPPS).

Special Skills

Required: Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred: Knowledge of quality measures (e.g. HEDIS).
