Payroll and Compensation Analyst

Payroll & Incentive Compensation AnalystThe Payroll & Incentive Compensation Analyst is a highly experienced individual contributor responsible for the accurate and compliant execution of payroll operations and the administration of the Company's performance-based incentive programs. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, serving as a subject matter expert and key partner to Accounting, HR, and business leadership while driving process improvements and ensuring operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing:Assist with weekly end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsPerform and review payroll reconciliations, audit controls, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrityServe as the primary subject matter expert for payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirementsMaintain and optimize payroll system configurations (e.g., ADP) to support business needsExecute multi-state payroll tax reporting and ensure regulatory complianceDevelop, maintain, and enhance payroll procedures and documentationAnalyze payroll audit reports and proactively resolve discrepanciesPartner with HR, Finance, and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll-related data flow and reportingIncentive Compensation Program Administration:Administer the Company's performance-based incentive and bonus programs across all eligible employee groupsTrack participant eligibility, plan enrollment, and changes throughout the performance cycleCalculate incentive payouts based on defined metrics, performance outcomes, and plan rulesMaintain accurate records and supporting documentation for all calculations and distributionsAssist with drafting, updating, and distributing incentive plan documents, guidelines, and participant communicationsPartner with Accounting and leadership to validate performance results and funding levelsReporting and Analysis:Assist with preparation of recurring and ad-hoc reporting as requested by managementAssist with delivery of audit requests for 401(k), worker's compensation, and external financial statement auditsEvaluate and compare job roles against industry compensation data using salary surveys and market pricing toolsQualifications:5-8 years' experience in payroll processing, preferably with 500+ employeesCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferredExperience with multi-state payroll processing and tax reporting requiredExperience with prevailing wage (certified pay) compliance and reporting preferredExperience with ADP enterprise platform or similar HRIS systemExperience with incentive compensation administration preferredCompany Overview:Vision Technologies, a national and global systems integrator, provides IT services and solutions for commercial and federal clients.
