Customer Operations Manager

The Customer Operations Manager has the responsibility of developing relationships, nurturing, defending, and growing a profitable customer base for Graco products through the management of OEM accounts. The position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure successful execution of customer business interactions with Graco. Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management and Development

• Manage, as a Lead Point of Contact, assigned OEM Production and End User National Accounts establishing rapport to ensure long term, profitable growth
• Identify, evaluate, and develop business relationships with new accounts within assigned market responsibility
• Generate business and sales leads by working with OEM Dealership networks in support of Graco Field Sales
• Work closely with and develop a strong working relationship with all levels of the Graco organization to ensure clear and effective communication of the needs of the OEM/national accounts
• Responsible to manage, organize and maintain customer records, contacts and opportunities in Customer Relationship Management, and pricing/discount structures

Pricing, Parts and Order Management

• Deliver appropriately constructed quotes, price models, and technical specifications to secure sales
• Manage pricing negotiations to include price change notification, justification, and contract implementation
• Work closely with production planners to manage annual customer forecasts and provide lead time and delivery support
• Serve as primary liaison with OEM Engineering and Procurement groups to define product requirements, create Bills of Material, modify, and support custom parts and kits
• Work with Graco Product Manager, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to set up and release for sale new part configurations
• Define customer specific ordering requirements including order entry, order acceptance, shipping notifications, and invoicing on behalf of the customer in conjunction with Graco Customer Service
• Assist Quality department with warranty resolution and execution

Sales, Marketing and Product Support

• Provide support and assistance as needed in developing sales, marketing, and product strategies or continuous process improvement that could bring forth automations of our systems for our OEM/national accounts with Graco Account Managers, Marketing and facilitate the communication of these plans
• Present and implement new ideas for new products, programs, promotions, and services that can grow our business with the national accounts and expand Graco's market share in a profitable manner
• Monitor and communicate regulatory, technological, and competitive activities impacting industry trends and adoption rates
• Participate in field-level activities including selling events, training, and product installations

Other duties as assigned Requirements

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent related experience
• 5+ years industry experience in customer service, sales, or product management
• Recognized networker and relationship builder that fosters a success-oriented culture
• Effective oral and written communication skills, along with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organization, both internal and external
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Demonstrates organized, responsive, and energetic attitude
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task.
• Proficiency with SalesForce, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent
• Able to travel up to 10%
