RN - Nurse Navigator

Nurse NavigatorThe Nurse Navigator is responsible for providing care to patients. The primary patient population consists of cancer patients. Nursing duties include education, skincare, wound care, and assessment of radiation toxicity. The Nurse Navigator will address social needs and evaluate symptoms that require attention. They will collaborate with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary. Daily responsibilities include chart preparation and telephone triage. The Nurse Navigator will be instrumental in care coordination and patient support. Experience with radiation therapy and radiation safety precautions is a plus. Candidates must be proficient in charting within the designated electronic medical record system. The position requires the ability to assess and manage various symptoms and complications related to oncology care.
