About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: Active State License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - IV Start and Telemetry Skills - Previous Charge Experience Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Travel experience is accepted for first-time travelers. Locals are accepted with a rate difference. Target patient ratios are 1:6. The unit will accept assignments of 13 weeks or longer. Shifts are during night hours from 18:45 to 07:15. 36 or 48 hours can be offered during the week. Float requirements may apply occasionally. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Patient population includes surgery patients, including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedic/spine. The unit utilizes systems such as Pyxis and EPIC. Self-scheduling is based on unit needs and manager input. Scrubs must be provided by the individual, navy blue or white only. EKG testing must be passed prior to start. Teamwork and adherence to policies are strongly enforced. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Floating within or near the facility is required as per the job description. Conduct online pre-start modules before the start of the assignment.
