This internship offers students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real ‑ world projects that support SRP’s commitment to delivering reliable, sustainable water and power services. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful work, and develop technical and professional skills relevant to their field of study. The role is designed to foster learning, teamwork, and innovation while providing exposure to SRP’s operations and culture. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact while exploring a future career with SRP. The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum. Schedule meetings, take notes, and manage documentation. Assist with data entry, filing, and organizing digital assets. Contribute to ongoing projects by preparing reports or presentations and summaries. Assist in testing, troubleshooting, or documenting technical processes and proposed improvements. Coordinate with team members, internal and external stakeholders. Draft emails, memos, or summaries as needed. Attend team meetings, training sessions, and shadow professionals. Ask questions and seek feedback to grow professionally. Learn and use internal tools, software, and systems relevant to the team's work. Maintain and update Work Management System/Tools. Education A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Additional Requirements and Qualifications Preferred Knowledge and Experience Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask. Experience withAutoCAD, AUD and Utility Scale Distribution Electrical Systems Hybrid Workplace SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
