Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining each procedure with empathy and patience
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic results
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Keep abreast of the latest advances in ultrasound techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of an accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and appropriate patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
