Account Manager - 3D Scanner Sales

The GoEngineer Digital Manufacturing team is looking for a motivated and relationship driven 3D Scanning Account Manager to join our growing organization. In this role, you will work directly with companies across a wide range of industries to understand their product development, prototyping, reverse engineering, inspection, and manufacturing challenges—then recommend 3D scanning and complementary digital manufacturing solutions that meet those needs. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through closing and forecasting with an Eastern U.S. Territory Your key contributions in this role will be: Proactively generate new opportunities through cold calling, targeted prospecting, and territory based lead generation. Guide prospects and customers through the full sales process, developing a deep understanding of their needs and closing new business. Promote and position advanced 3D scanning technologies within a variety of industries in a fast moving, technology focused environment. Travel to customer sites to deliver professional, solution focused product presentations and demonstrations. Build strong, trust based relationships with internal teams, partners, customers, and suppliers. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within our CRM platform. We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply: Experience in 3D scanning sales is highly desired, with strong preference for candidates who have sold metrology, quality or reverse engineering tools or other technical manufacturing solutions. 1-5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing/technological environment is highly desired. Demonstrated ability to work a territory independently and stay self-motivated while managing travel and customer activity. Experience using a CRM platform to manage accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and follow-up activity; experience with NetSuite is a plus. Strong prospecting skills and the ability to generate and develop new business opportunities. Ability to communicate a clear sales process and navigate complex customer decisions over multi-month sales cycles. Comfort collaborating with technical or application engineering resources to support customer discovery, demonstrations, and evaluations. Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills. Competitive Compensation Includes: Base + Incentives (Base range = $60,000 -$75,000), with expected OTE $165k+.
