Dealership Sales Manager

Vann York Auto Group is currently hiring for a Sales Manager. As a Vann York Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating activities related to vehicle sales, providing leadership and guidance to our sales consultants, and ensuring our customers are taken care of.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Monitors Salesperson productivity and performance.
  • Administers and monitors factor-sponsored programs.
  • Displays, merchandises and promotes new- and used-vehicles.
  • Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.
  • Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
  • Embodies company values and fosters a culture of teamwork.
  • Attends Managers Meetings.
  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Expectations for Ideal Candidate
  • Expertise - Must be Knowledgeable of Inventory, Products, and Services offered. Take opportunities to learn every day to make department more efficient. Recognize that you may not always have the answer but will strive to learn the answer.
  • Respec t- Be a Mentor both on-site and in the community. Provide motivating leadership and guidance to service team members, fostering a culture conducive to growth and productivity. Show appreciation to both customers and employees.
  • Results - Set and enforce standards for growth to ensure monthly and annual goals are met. Working through department obstacles while maintaining productivity goals.
  • Trust - Follow through on commitments. Communicate honestly and in a positive manner with customers, employees, vendors and people of the community. As a Vann York Leader, you represent the organization.
  • Service- Communicating and collaborating with general manager and other department managers to overcome obstacles and find sustainable solutions. Ensuring customers have been provided with an excellent car-buying experience.
Requirements
  • Min. of 3 years of Dealership Sales Management Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; OR three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.
  • Valid NC driver's license and acceptable driving record
