• Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food quality, service standards, and cleanliness.
• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high performance levels. *Will be expected to keep restaurant staffed properly*
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels; conduct regular stock checks.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours, and resolving operational issues promptly. *Expected to answer calls/assist team even when not in restaurant*

• Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments.
• Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, development, and performance management.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to support profitability goals.
• Prior hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; knowledge of catering or banquet operations is advantageous.
