Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and every-other-weekend night availability.

Details

• Med/Surg Oncology unit (MSU Oncology) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 1845–0715 (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday night or Saturday/Sunday night rotation)
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Kansas (KS) or compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Oncology unit experience preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required or an approved declination (booster not required)
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be needed for consideration
