What We Expect From You
We hire for character, not résumés. Before you apply, understand that this is what we actually require. These aren’t aspirational values on a poster. They’re how we evaluate you starting on day one.

• Reliability/Dependability. You do what you say, when you say it, with no chasing required. You show up to every scheduled shift on time, and you don’t call out.
• Coachability/Growth-Oriented. You take feedback and implement it instead of defending against it. You have a growth mindset and are always looking to get better.
• Initiative/Managing Up. You see what needs to happen and you handle it. You take things off leadership’s plate. You don’t add more to it.
• Emotional Maturity. You regulate yourself first. You handle hard moments without making them harder. Your emotions don’t run your decisions.
• Accountability. You own your mistakes. You self-report before you’re caught. You close the loop.
• Communication. You’re clear, direct, professional, and proactive with your boss, your team, your students, and their families. You close the loop.
• Solution-Oriented. When you bring a concern, you bring a solution with it. You don’t just point out problems.

If any of the above makes you uncomfortable, this isn’t the right role for you. If it sounds like exactly how you already operate, we want to meet you.

Requirements

• No prior swim instruction experience needed. Full training is provided.
• Must be willing to do whatever the work requires, including teaching, phones, admin, and operations.
• Reliable transportation, since you’ll work at both our Norco and Riverside locations.
