About the Position

Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 8*5 40hours/week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• Requirements: On-Call, Callback, Weekends & Holidays per unit needs

• Contract: 1 Year ONLY

• Experience: 2+ Years as an Anesthesia Tech

• Certification: BLS Required

• Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications & supplies

• Support difficult intubations and central line procedures

• Operate cell-saver and support cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic & trauma cases

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot & maintain advanced anesthesia equipment

• Perform equipment testing, calibration and preventive maintenance

• Support OR room turnover and anesthesia setup for out-of-OR procedures

• Assist with staff training and provide backup to the shift supervisor

• Preferred: Anesthesia Technologist certification & related college/technical education
