Job Overview A law firm seeks a Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate with over three years of experience to join their team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves working on innovative renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydrogen, and battery storage, across the United States. Duties Collaborate with clients on renewable energy project development and finance. Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and other related contracts. Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contracts. Provide legal support for project financing and management. Requirements Minimum of three years of law firm experience in relevant practice areas. Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Strong written and oral communication skills. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
