Chef

You will be preparing and cooking meals for our residents. Coordinating all food functions in accordance with the standard state regulations. Use creative recipes and fun alternatives for holidays plus other events. Understands and prepares modified diets using appropriate techniques. Maintains proper quantities of production with appropriate rotation of product. Safe food handling techniques are handled in all applications.


Chef Job duties include:
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Inspect trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in cooking and A Food Handlers Card is required.
